With today's many on-demand services it's logical to imagine the act of picking out a disc to rent is falling to the wayside like so many retail business models. However, you would be wrong. $1 gets you an HD film, and it's even less when you subscribe to their text alerts program. Redbox knew their advantage in the marketplace when they came to Vibes, but they knew how important the mobile connection had to be with their customers. The account, strategy, and creative teams came together to propose new programs for their mobile alert subscribers that would vary up the cadence of offers and transactional alerts, which built a stronger connection to Redbox as the source of fun and engagement.
