Today's traveler abides
Montana represents the Great West. It's known for its National Parks, but hasn't risen to the vacation venue that its surrounding states have. Montana needed to reinstate their brand and turn on a new digital presence for the new tech savvy traveler that was seeking an adventure beyond the REI photo shoot.

Strategy
The strategy and creative teams at Razorfish took ownership of the digital extension of Montana's brand, while partnering with Montana's other agencies. Collaboratively, we built a unified plan to extend the gritty and unapologetic identity of the expansive state. Then, we mapped the right programs to extend the technology of the traveler seeking to engage in the unexpected adventure.
VisitMT.com Design
The first touchpoint we needed to tackle was the outdated website. It needed an overall which included a better CMS that could integrate with Montana's events calendar, activities and information about the National Parks, tourism teams across the state, their new social media plan, and a new brand direction. Our creative and UX team took aim at producing an experience that aligned the website to that of the physical state, encouraging the user to "get lost" in Montana.
