A new responsive website experience for a global enterprise requires a careful regional rollout. As Razorfish launched the US redesign, a developer team was tasked with the adaptation of the design system and typographic elements for launch in Caterpillar's global regions. Careful evaluation to align foreign font families to the brand font system and the proper degradation based on mobile internet bandwidth of each region was carefully evaluated. After rigorous testing with eastern and middle eastern agency partners, Caterpillar could bring their new web experience to the rest of the world.
